Our magic is in the way that we consistently produce amazing images in all types of homes. We have visited many hundreds of families and babies in over 140 Sydney suburbs and have created beautiful images in lounges, bedrooms, hallways and studio apartments. You would never know that you werenât in a professional studio; all you need to provide is four walls and a roof!
We are consistent
Our photographers use our high-quality lighting setup and trained techniques to produce a signature, high-end studio look that is made to look great on your wall. Each photographer is our own, we do not use sub-contractors.

As the years go by, we have been lucky enough to be there as the family grows, with our images being displayed and shared in homes all around the world. Some of our families like to update the childrenâs portraits every year, documenting them as they change.

When working with young children it is important to see the photography session as a game and often you must literally get down to their level so that they feel safe and confident enough to play along. Our photographers have years of experience working with children and know how to make the camera âdisappearâ, which is how you get those unfiltered, cheeky expressions and not a cheesy smile! We want you to say âthatâs totally them!â

Each online consultant is there to make sure you get exactly what you ordered. No pushy sales here, just excellent service.
You would like to adjust them to a certain size? Something needs a little extra retouching?
This session is unique to Grain & Weave and is your opportunity to have the final say on how you would like your images presented.
Our consultants will review your images with you, re-crop them, change them between black and white or colour, and make real-time suggestions as to how they would best be presented in your home before you place your order.
The session is included in every Grain & Weave package and is our way to ensure you always have the complete and quality service that we have become known for.
